Townsend Zoning Board of Appeals LEGAL NOTICE
In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Townsend Zoning Bylaw, the Townsend Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 6:35 p.m. at the Town Hall, 272 Main St., Townsend MA, to consider the application of Addison Nute for a special permit under Townsend Zoning Bylaw §§ 145-18 and 145-65 to authorize the use of nine previously permitted motel units as long-term residential rental units at 159 Brookline Road (assessors Map 38, Block 9, Lot 0), located in the Outlying Commercial District (OCD) and the Aquifer Overlay District.
The application and plans are on file in the Town Clerk’s Office and may be inspected during regular business hours. Public comments may be made at the hearing or in writing prior to the hearing by emailing a request to ZBA@townsendma.gov. Remote access via Zoom link:
