SPORTS: LA Girls Hockey Star Honored By Indy School League

Lawrence Academy sophomore Brittany Colton earned Honorable Mention from the Independent School League for her performance on defense for the Spartans' hockey team during the winter season. She was named Defensive MVP on a team that completed season with a 7-5 ISL record, placing them fifth in ISL rankings for the year.

This winter, Brittany, playing for her Assabet Valley U16 team, was one of five Lawrence Academy students who competed with their local clubs in the Tier 1 USA Hockey national championships. A three-sport varsity athlete, Brittany also plays soccer and softball. She is the daughter of Linda and Christopher Colton of Groton.
