SPORTS: Friends of Nashoba Tech Road Race

The third annual Friends of Nashoba Valley Technical High School 5K Road Race is Saturday, Oct. 18 at 11:30 a.m., with a fun run at 11. Entry fees before Oct. 12 are $25 for adults, $15 for students under 19, and $10 for runners over 65. After Oct. 12, the fees are $35 for adults, $20 for students under 19, and $15 for runners over 65.

Fun run is free for all runners. Pre-entrants receive a free T-shirt. Register at www.coolrunning.com or www.nashobatech.net. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., at the school, 100 Littleton Rd., (Rte. 110), Westford. It is an official timed race, with awards presented in several categories. Proceeds go to Nashoba Tech sports, clubs, extracurricular activities and scholarships.
