Ski Teams In First Season Race

Groton Dunstable Regional High School first downhill ski race of the season in the Mass Bay West Alpine Ski Race League, Alpha Division Jan. 7 at Nashoba Valley Ski area. Format was Grand slalom. The league consists of Lowell, Chelmsford, Newton South, Belmont, G-D, Harvard/Bromfield, Westford, Acton-Boxboro.

Team results: G-D Varsity Boys team placed 4th out of eight teams, G-D Varsity Girls placed 4th out of eight teams. Individual results: Top GD Girls placed as follows: Alissa Johnson-10th, Noelle Johnson 17th, Katie O'Brien 20th (out of 73 girls in league). Top G-D Boys placed as follows: Sam Tellier-14th, Matthew Goulding 15th, Bryan Heffernan 24th (out of 86 boys in league).
