Malcolm Fry Appears for the Revolution First Team

Malcolm Fry on His Recent First-Team appearances: “I try not to focus on the one moment; I try to just focus on the journey and the development, but it definitely is exciting to have those moments where all your work and all the dedication is validated. I think it was awesome for me during Leagues Cup especially, and in Philly [Philadelphia Union], and against Orlando [City, SC], to have some consistent time with the first team and get good feedback from the coaches. I learned a lot from those experiences, and I think going into next season, I'll be able to use those and know what I should focus on for the coming season.” Photo Courtesy of the New England Revolution.

Malcolm Fry on his approach on and off the field in earning more first-team minutes: “I think off the field, just continue to be myself. The team does a great job of welcoming all the young guys in, and I feel really at home in the locker room, and with the coaches, and the sporting staff. I think on the field kind of a similar thing,  just continuing to be me. I think the first couple times I was playing, the first couple of minutes, I was a little timid and just wanted to keep the ball. But especially against Philly, I got more comfortable just showing myself and what I can do. I want to keep feeling comfortable doing that and taking my opportunities.” Photo Courtesy of the New England Revolution
