Lexo and Fischetti Place at Track and Field Meet in NYC

Groton residents Evan Lexo (Groton-Dunstable High School) and Matt Fischetti (Phillips Andover Academy) earned a trip to the USA Track and Field Junior Olympics in Greensboro, North Carolina at last weekend's Region 1 meet at Icahn Stadium in New York City. Both young men competed in the boys' 17-18 year-old divisions with Lexo completing the 100-meter in 10.86 seconds for a gold medal and Fischetti, scoring 5,623 points in the decathlon to win a silver medal.
