Girls Volleyball

GD 3, Nashoba 1-Jamie Debreceni, Taylor White, and Laura Bieren each had 10 kills.  Debreceni and White also had great defensive games with 10 digs.  Rose O'Malley had 19 assists and 4 aces.  Alex Pray and Sam Whitney chipped in with 5 kills each. Pray also had 4 blocks. GD is now 7-1 overall, 5-0 Mid-Wach B.

Girls Cross Country

GD girls cross country defeated visiting North Middlesex 15-48 on the 3.1 mile course. (1) Emily Willson (20:15), (2) Emily McAuliffe (21:31), (3) Sarah Mullins (22:26), (4) Samantha Ferrero(22:26), (5), Meagan O'Dell22:50. Ranked 10th in Central Mass. Coaches poll.

Boys Cross Country

North Middlesex 29, GD 30- Chris Alfond (18:39) NM, Mike Spooner (18:30) NM, Gavin Thomas (18:42) NM, Patriots (3-1) swept the top three spots edging host GD Crusaders (0-3) on the 3.1-mile course. Groton-Dunstable's Nick O'Dell (18:54) was fourth, (5) Ben Hauk (19:01) and (6th) Zach Gavel (19:29).
