Both the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams recently took home first-place at the Mid-Wach B League Championship! First place for both teams came with dedication and hard work. "We trust each member of the team," said Feela Webb. "We believe in coach (Chris Volante). He wants us to succeed as runners and as young athletes. With a record of 11-5-2, Groton-Dunstable Varsity Field Hockey went to the tournament for the first time since 2017. Team stat leaders include: Emma Hulslander: 13 G (2nd Mid-Wach C), 3 A; Jenna Koch: 4 G, 11 A; Allison Neily: 8 G, 2 A; Brooke Dondero: 5 G 2 A; and Caitlyn Saboliauskas: 4 G, 2 A. Goaltender Annie Apigian also led Mid-Wach C goaltenders with a goals against average of 1.22 per game, playing all 18 games in net.

The G-D boys got the win in the Junior/Senior race at the Frank Mooney Invitational in Wrentham. Several personal records were set in a tune up for the MIAA D II state meet next week.
