Groton-Dunstable’s Greyson Duane established a new school mile record with a time of 4:31.40 finishing 6th overall at the MSTCA Boston Holiday Challenge at the New Balance track. Meghan McEleney finished 5th overall in the 600 meters with a time of 1:40.57 at the same meet. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that combines gentle physical exercise and stretching with mindfulness. It is a noncompetitive martial art known for health benefits. Tai Chi can improve brain function, lower stress, lower blood pressure and depression. And it’s fun! People of all ages enjoy practicing Tai Chi. Professional golfers notice an improvement in managing pain, stability, balance and longer distance on the golf course.
