Groton Conservation Trust www.gctrust.org will celebrate its 50th anniversary at its Annual Meeting, Thursday, May 1, 6:30 p.m. (social hour) at the Lawrence Academy MacNeil Lounge. Keynote speaker, Ted Elliman, Sr., Botanist with the New England Wild Flower Society, will talk at 7 p.m. about local invasive species, how to identify them and keep them in check.
