Alternate Position Open on Nashoba Tech Board

A volunteer is needed for the position of alternate representative from Groton to the Nashoba Valley Technical School District School Committee. Any interested Groton resident should contact the Selectmen's Office at (978) 448-1111.

A member and alternate representing Groton on the NVTSD are chosen every three years by an appointing committee composed of the Selectmen, Groton members of the Groton-Dunstable School Committee and Town Moderator, acting as chairman. The appointing committee will meet in the evening, Monday, April 1, during the regularly scheduled Selectmen's meeting.

Kevin McKenzie, current Groton representative, is seeking reappointment. While the position is currently vacant, the alternate member serves in the absence of the Groton representative.
