Paintings & Photographs by Janet Clingerman Hsiao and Ku-chuan Hsiao
The beauty of New England is the inspiration for Janet Clingerman Hsiao's artwork - ocean scenes, floral paintings, and small bird portraits. Janet's style has been most influenced by the American Impressionists.
Ku-chuan Hsiao is a genetic engineer; it was quite by accident that he began his journey into bird/small animal photography. Ku-chuan developed methods for photographing the birds in-flight so that the lovely fluid detail in the design of the wings could be seen.
