Indian Hill Performathon!

More than 200 Indian Hill Music School students and faculty will perform April 8 and 9 during School’s annual Performathon ‘concert marathon’ to raise funds for student scholarships and outreach programs. Free public performances Friday, April 8, 6-9 pm, and Saturday, April 9, 9

Am-7:30 pm at IHM, 36 King St., Littleton. All musical styles will be featured, from classical to jazz, as well as soloists and ensembles. Donations accepted at the performances.

IHM invests over $100,000 annually in need-based scholarships, free professional concerts, subsidized lessons, workshops and a hospice choir. Last year’s Performathon raised over $25,000. This year’s goal $30,000, in honor of IHM’s 30th anniversary last year. Corporate sponsorship for Performathon 2016 provided by Workers’ Credit Union.

One hundred percent of Performathon donations benefit IHMS Scholarship Fund, which provides financial aid for all the programs of the Music School, plus outreach programs in area school districts. Every year, scholarship aid is granted to some 100 students in nearly two dozen towns including Acton, Ayer, Boxborough, Concord, Devens, Gardner, Groton, Harvard, Hudson, Leominster, Littleton, Lowell, Lunenburg, Maynard, Pepperell, Quincy, So. Lancaster, Nashua (NH), Shirley, Stow, Townsend, and Westford.

The community is invited to these free recitals to support IHMS Scholarship Fund. Tax-deductible contributions of any size accepted. All funds go directly to Scholarship Fund.
