Public Hearing - Stormwater Management Permit Hollingsworth & Vose, 219 Townsend Road

   In accordance with the provisions of the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 198, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 6:30 PM, in the Town Hall, to consider the application submitted by Hollingsworth & Vose for approval of a Full Stormwater Management Permit for a landfill closure as shown on the plans entitled, “Pre-Closure Drainage Area Plan and Post Closure Drainage Area Plan,” dated  September 26, 2025, prepared by Verdantas. The proposed project is located at 219 Townsend Road, north of the intersection of Kemp Street and Townsend Road, Assessors Map 216, Parcels 206-44 and 103-4, owned by Hollingsworth & Vose.

   Copies of the application and plan are on file in the Land Use Department in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability.  Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting the Planning Board at (978) 448-1105 at least ten days prior to the hearing.
