Please give a warm welcome to Groton’s two newest officers, Officer Ian Pereira [Top Photo Center] and Officer Tyler Melanson. They recently graduated the police academy and March 1 was their first day on patrol. They will complete the Field Training program over the next few months, shadowing senior officers and learning about policing in our town.Give Officer Pereira and Officer Melanson a hello if you see them around town.
