Planning Board – Public Hearing Notice Proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendment – Definition of Age-Restricted Housing

In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, §§ 5 and 11, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 7:00 PM, to consider a proposed amendment to the Groton Zoning Bylaw, Chapter 218, Section 218-3 Definitions. The proposed zoning amendment will revise the definition of Age-Restricted Housing to require the affordable units to qualify for inclusion on the state’s Subsidized Housing Inventory and to comply with the federal Fair Housing Act.

Copies of the proposed zoning amendments are on file in the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall.
