There was a very successful National Letter Carriers food drive on Saturday, with near record-breaking amounts of food and personal-care items. The picture above shows the volume of what each truckload looked like as they arrived and gives an idea of what was received on Saturday. Dan and Jamie Glennie from Fairway Drive in Groton, and long-time volunteers at Loaves & Fishes, generously offered their truck and time to take care of all the pickups from our Groton post office, taking each of four truckloads to Loaves & Fishes throughout Saturday afternoon.
