From the December 5, 1980 edition of the Groton Herald: Bob Hargraves poses next to his vintage auto. The caption from that edition of the paper reflected anxiety about the Iranian Revolution which had led to the second oil shock of 1979. The caption describing the car read in part: a survivor from the days when nobody asked, 'how many miles do you get to a gallon?"
