Nicholas Clark Awarded Rank of Eagle Scout

Nick's Eagle Scout Service Project required 575 volunteer hours designing and building dugouts on the baseball field at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

At a ceremony April 7 attended by more than 50 people, guests included: Groton Selectwoman, Anna Eliot; Massachusetts State Representative, Sheila Harrington; Nick's mother, Kelly Boyd; Nick's father, Tom Clark; Scoutmaster, John Dennis; Master of Ceremonies, John Sullivan; Dale Ames, Eagle Scout advisor and former, Nicholas Clark was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout.

In addition to being awarded his Eagle Scout Certificate, Groton issued a proclamation that April 7, 2013 is Nicholas Clark Day, presented by Selectwoman Eliot. This was followed by a Citation from the Massachusetts House of Representatives presented to Nicholas by Representative Harrington.
