GROTON RESIDENTS Featured in The Nutcracker
Groton residents Amelia Maguire and Nell Mancini will perform in Commonwealth Ballet Company's production of The Nutcracker, which opens in Acton Friday, Nov. 28.
Amelia, a sophomore at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School, has been a member of the Company for three years. Her featured roles this season include Columbine, Russian Girl, Merliton, and Neapolitan Girl. Nell, a freshman at the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro, will dance the role of Lead Mouse. They join a cast of more than 80 dancers that includes international guest artists Anna Liceica and Vitali Krauchenka, both formerly of American Ballet Theatre.
