AWARD For Advocacy

Rebecca Pike, formerly of Dunstable, received the Karl Ackerman Peer Award for her advocacy and ongoing recovery from mental illness during the NAMI MASS State Convention held Saturday, Oct. 18 at the UMASS Inn & Conference Center in Lowell.

She is pictured holding her plaque (center) with the Rev. Elea Kemler, minister of First Parish Church of Groton, where Rebecca is a member; she is flanked by members of the church's mental health advocacy and outreach group of which she is a part.
