SQUANNACOOK HALL to be Rebid

With renewed interest from several potential bidders for Squannacook Hall, Selectmen approved re-advertising for an RFP (Request for Proposal) for the historic structure. Town Manager Haddad stressed that "price isn't the big factor, but use is." There have been several suggested uses including multifamily residences, a single residence and a community center. Haddad added that whoever bids on the building is responsible for installation of the septic system based on an approved design.
