Groton Historical Society Auction 2013
The Groton Historical Society will kick off an exciting weekend of Grotonfest events starting with an auction of wonderful antiques, uniques, services and surprises on Friday, September 20th at the Groton Country Club.
A preview and silent auction will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. when the live auction is scheduled to start. Tickets for admission are $20, and include a large selection of hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Tickets can be purchased at the Blackbird Café, the Main Street Café , at www.mktix.com/ghs and at the door.
The Society has already received some wonderful donations, but in order to make this truly a successful fundraising to preserve Groton history, more is needed. If you have items that needs a new home or services to offer, or questions about what is appropriate, please contact Auction Chairman Anna Eliot at 978-448-0100. For convenience, there is a drop off location for your items.
Plan to come to the auction on Friday night and on Saturday, treat yourself and your family to a full day of great community entertainment and food at Grotonfest!
