ConCom Approves GELD Building Plan

Groton Electric light Department has cleared a critical hurdle in their building plans for new administration and garages on their site on Station Avenue. GELD, which has been working on this for well over a year, finally got approval from the Conservation Commission for their Notice of Intent to construct the new facilities

According to GELD Manager Kevin Kelly, the next step is to meet with the Planning Board to go over the building plans, which were submitted to the Planners on Sept. 24. The Board has 10 days to review the plan, with discussion expected to take place at their Oct 4 meeting.
