TREND: Shrinking Median Family Income In Groton

After much local discussion of information presented in a Boston Globe article discussing changing demographic trends in several eastern Massachusetts towns, the Groton Herald decided to check United States Census Bureau data to see if we could confirm the trend of declining, inflation adjusted, median income in Groton. With the patient assistance and guidance of a Census Bu- reau data analyst, we were able to confirm the Globe’s data on median income in Groton. Infographic by John Ellenberger.
