Let Your Voice Be Heard

Dear Editor:

Registering to vote last week took me 90 seconds. I walked into town hall, asked our friendly town clerk to register, filled out a short form, and that was it. If you have turned 18 recently or will be soon, now is the time to let your voice be heard.

I encourage all high school seniors to take the time to register to vote once you turn eighteen. Sure, we are all looking forward to graduation and parties and leaving home, but let's not forget about our duty as citizens. Please go to town hall and register. And, by casting your vote in future elections, your voice will be heard.
