Girl Scout Cookie Program Teaches Life Skills

Dear Editor,

The Nash-a-way Service Unit of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Mass. would like to thank the residents of Ayer, Dunstable, Groton and Shirley for their support with our cookie sales this winter. We especially want to thank the following businesses which let the girls set up tables to sell cookies:  Shaw's, Donelan's,  The Groton Exchange, A L Prime Energy, The Prescott School, The Dunstable General Store, G.W. Archer Mobil in Ayer, North Middlesex Savings Bank, and the Ayer and Shirley Post Offices. 

The Cookie Program teaches the girls many life skills including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. The girls use the funds raised in the Annual Cookie Sale to help pay for books, meeting supplies, and outings.  Thank you to all!
