'Food For The Poor' Yard Sale A Great Success

Dear Editor:

The June 28 Food for The Poor yard sale was a great success. Thank you for your prayers, humor, time, support and donations. A major thank you goes out to Our Lady of Grace Parish, Groton School, Tom Pistorino, Diana Keaney, Tom and Pat Daly, Mark Imbimbo, Micah Dunsmoor and Nicholas Dunsmoor.

All the money raised will benefit hungry children and families throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. Besides raising money for the poor, this endeavor sheds beautiful light on the goodness of others around us. The remaining items were donated to the Boy Scouts for their yard sale this Labor Day as part of the Annual Fireman's Muster.

At the same time of the yard sale, Sarah Webb and Melanie Ketelhohn's religious education children were selling baked goods to raise money for Our Lady of Grace's Respect Life ministry. Thank you for your hard work and delicious treats!
