The Groton Electric Light Department is requesting bids for a recently retired truck.  

Information including full truck description may be obtained from the Light Department at 23 Station Avenue, Groton, MA  01450, 978-448-1150

Bids will be received until 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the offices of the Light Department, 23 Station Avenue, Groton, MA  01450.

Envelopes must be clearly marked “BID for BUCKET TRUCK” and addressed to: BOARD of ELECTRIC LIGHT COMMISSIONERS, TOWN OF GROTON, 23 Station Avenue, Groton, MA 01450.

Two (2) copies of each Bid shall be submitted.

SIGN COMMITTEE

   In accordance with the provision of Chapter 196 Signs of the Code of Groton, the Sign Committee will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the Second Floor Meeting Room of the Groton Town Hall, 173 Main Street, Groton, MA. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider an application submitted by the Groton Water Department to utilize the provisions of Section 196-8 Unique and Special Circumstances to install a sign on the property located at 864 Lowell Road, Assessors Map 250, Parcel 96. 

   Copies of the application are on file in the Town Manager’s Office. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Dunstable Conservation Commission

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

   The Dunstable Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 25, 2022, 6:40pm to consider a Notice of Intent filed by Daniel Walent for property owned by Daniel and Shannon Walent and located at 650 Pleasant Street, Map 7, Lot 16-0.  Mr. Walent proposes to raze a deck, remove a portion of the driveway and stonewall, construct an addition, deck and extend the driveway within the 100-ft. Buffer Zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland.  This is a joint hearing under the requirements of MGL Ch. 131 §40, as amended, and the Dunstable Wetlands Protection Bylaw and Regulations, as amended.  Plans are available at the Commission’s office at Town Hall, 511 Main Street, Dunstable, MA.  For information email: CMann@dunstable-ma.gov.
