In accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40C, the Groton Historic Districts Commission (GHDC) will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 7:35 p.m. at Town Hall, 173 Main Street, Groton, to consider the application submitted by Lawrence Academy, for a Certificate of Appropriateness: for the replacement of the existing garage serving 42 Powderhouse Road with a building serving as a conference / seminar room and for the existing garage building to be moved to a location between Park House and Alumni House and restored on the Lawrence Academy campus (Assessors Map 116 - Parcel 12), Groton, Massachusetts. Property owner: Trustees of Lawrence Academy, 33 Powderhouse Rd., Groton, MA.
