Taste of Small Group Ministry Program, First Parish Church

Small Group Ministry at First Parish Church is about fulfilling two human hopes -hope for deep friendship, where we can be truly known and accepted for who we are, and hope for deep spiritual exploration, where we can reflect on issues of profound significance in our lives. In Small Group Ministry, people gather in groups of eight-10 to talk, listen, think, wonder, question and share. The group is structured and focused to allow people to go deeper - both within themselves, in connections to one another and in understanding what is sacred. Groups meet weekly for six weeks. Here are a few examples of what will be talked about during fall semester: Expressions of the Spirit, Humility, How Do I Share My Gifts?
