Tanglewood Trip

Friends of Groton Elders and Groton Council on Aging are co-sponsoring a trip to Tanglewood Sunday, July 26 for Boston Symphony "All Mozart" program.  Through the generosity of Friends of Groton Elders cost is only $72 for seniors, $97 non-seniors and includes transportation, concert, dinner and drivers gratuity.

We'll depart from senior center at 10 a.m. with a lunch stop on your own on the Mass Pike.  While in transit Groton resident and previous symphony chorus member John Murphy will share history of Tanglewood. Once we arrive you'll have a few hours to peruse the beautiful grounds and find your seat in the Shed.  After the concert we will stop for dinner (TBD) and then make our way home arriving about 9 p.m.

Reservations can be made with $35 deposit at the senior center.  Make checks payable to The Friends of the Groton Elders.  Due to deadline with BSO, final payment must be received by June 12.
