Open Rehearsal at Lawrence Academy for "The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace"

Lawrence Academy invites the public to a Monday, Dec. 15 open rehearsal for The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, a contemporary choral piece by Welsh composer Karl Jenkins, first performed in 2000 and dedicated at that time to victims of the Kosovo crisis.

Lawrence Academy's student singers, musicians, and dancers will collaborate with students from other schools, along with professional musicians from the Indian Hill Orchestra, to present the multi-dimensional experience. The open rehearsal takes place at 8 p.m. in the school's Richardson-Mees Performing Arts Center and is in preparation for the school community's own holiday celebrations the following evening.

Admission is free.
