Nutrition for Stronger Immune System

Groton Council on Aging will hosti a monthly lunch catered by Nashoba Valley Technical School culinary students. Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 12 pm.. Menu: Choice of Chicken Coq Au Vin or Baked haddock for $10. 

Before the winter flu hits learn how to protect yourself and make your recovery stronger, our Speaker, Charles Smigelski, RD, with 30 year experience in nutritional counseling, lecturing and research, will present Nutrition for a Stronger Immune System. Call the COA for Reservation, 978-448-1170.

Veteran's Breakfast at the COA

 

All veterans and their guests are invited Thurs., Nov. 6, 10 am, to Groton Police sponsored Veteran's Breakfast. Note change in day from last year's breakfasts. Head Chef, Chief Palma will serve eggs, sausage, bacon and hash brown potatoes with the assistance of Groton Police Officers.  Call the senior center foreservation or for more info, 978-448-1170. To meet needs of our Veteran's, Groton Veteran's Agent, Bob Johnson will be available to answer your questions.
