Groton Girl Scout Troop 60940 will be holding a fundraising car wash on Saturday, April 5, from 8-2 at Prescott School in Groton. Please come support the Girl Scouts and get all that winter salt and sand washed away! 

Troop 1 Scouts Clothing Drive for Epilepsy Foundation

If you are getting ready for spring cleaning and looking to purge some clothing, consider donating to Troop 1 Groton and the Epilepsy Foundation as they are working together for a clothing drive, Saturday, April 26, at the Prescott Building on Main St. in Groton from 9 AM - 2 PM. If you cannot make this time for drop off but would like to donate items, please call Natalie at 978-448-6481 to coordinate a pick up. The Scouts will collect: Clothing, bedding - (blankets, sheets and comforters), towels.

All items will go to the Epilepsy Foundation which has been making a difference for people with epilepsy as well as educating the community and developing support networks for families and friends.  They seek to enable people with epilepsy and their families to make decisions and take actions regarding health care, productivity, independence and community participation.  The Epilepsy Foundation New England works actively with volunteers, professionals and community organizations to educate the public about epilepsy.
