Guided Trail Hike: Winter in McLain's Woods

Sunday, March 13 at 1PM sharp, join us on a guided winter hike on the trails of McLain's Woods, led jointly by the Groton Trails Committee and the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC). This large, wild conservation area is a wonderful choice for an enjoyable New England woods walk and features the largest collection of vernal pools in the area.

Our hike will take about 2 hours. Leashed dogs welcome. Wear winter hiking boots, snowshoes, or crampons/spikes, as snow-cover conditions warrant. Hike held unless very stormy. From Reedy Meadow Rd., turn onto McLain's Woods Rd.. Go about 0.1 mile, staying left.
