Groton Women's Club Hosts Seven Hills Volunteer Head

On Friday, Oct. 16, Groton Woman's Club will hold a meeting at Union Congregational Church, starting with a luncheon at 11:30 a.m.  Following the luncheon and business meeting, the program title is Advocating for Children in Groton. Monica Kleeman, Head of Volunteer Activities at Seven Hills Pediatric Center in Groton, will discuss the importance of volunteers and the ways in which they can assist in the care of residents at Seven Hills.

Three Woman's Club members will also discuss their involvement in volunteering at Seven Hills.  Becky Barth, who is a Special Education Surrogate Parent, will explain her role in assisting those residents on a special education plan. Ann Krajewski and Ellen Hargraves will share ways in which they have volunteered at Seven Hills.
