Groton Dunstable Residents in Cast of "Christmas Spectacular"

Peacock Players, NH's premiere award winning youth theatre, will present the musical holiday tradition The Peacock Players Christmas Spectacular at the Janice B. Streeter Theatre, 14 Court St., Nashua, NH, for one weekend only, Friday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m., Dec. 20, 2 p.m and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 21, at 2 p.m. Tickets on sale at Peacock Players box office by phone (603) 886-7000 and online www.peacockplayers.org.

The Peacock Players Christmas Spectacular is based on time-honored favorites of the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular combined with the all-star holiday variety shows made popular by Perry Como, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. This heart-warming episodic song and dance revue is already a long-standing Peacock Players holiday tradition.

Production is conceived and directed by Peacock Players' Artistic Director, and Broadway veteran performer, Keith Weirich. Mr. Weirich has received several NH Theatre Awards in his connection with Peacock Players, and was honored this past year as recipient of the Children's and Youth Award for his work in theatre arts education.

The Peacock Players Christmas Spectacular will feature musical direction and accompaniment by Henry Kopczynskie III. The all-star ensemble also features special performances from a cast of nearly 100 Peacock Players students, alumni, parents, staff, and friends, including Megan Fitzpatrick (of Groton) and Alex Giggey (of Dunstable) -plus a special visit from Santa Claus.
