Democrats Host Non-Partisan Presentation on MA Climate Change

On Sunday, March 20, 2016, the Groton Democratic Town Committee will be hosting a non-partisan presentation by state Senator Michael Barrett on his revenue-neutral carbon pricing bill (S. 1747). This bill has been carefully crafted to elicit support from both progressives and conservatives who want to take concrete action against climate change.

In addition, Marc Grant from 350Mass.org will discuss his group's efforts to build a statewide social movement to confront the climate crisis and key environmental issues in the energy bills now making their way through the legislature. The presentation will be held at 4 p.m. at Legion Hall, 75 Hollis Street, Groton.
