BAKING for Breast Cancer

Gibbet Hill Grill is a participant this year in the annual "Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer"

Treat the special women in your life to decadent desserts while also helping fight breast cancer during Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer from May 2 through Mother’s Day May 8. Restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, cafés, and ice cream shops throughout MA will participate in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer, including Gibbet Hill Grill in Groton.

Establishments have the option to designate all sales of one specific dessert or 50-percent of proceeds from their entire dessert menu to support breast cancer care and research. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit breast cancer organization Bakes for Breast Cancer. This year, we will support research of Dr. Heather Parsons at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Parsons research focuses on biomarkers and patient treatment.

Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer was founded in 2000 by Carol Brownman Sneider in memory of her mother, Eva Brownman. For more info, a list of participating establishments, or to learn how to become involved in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer, visit www.bostonbakesforbreastcancer.org, follow Bakes for Breast Cancer on Facebook, and Bakes for Breast Cancer on Twitter.
