FOR SANDY POND LAND
TO BE DECLARED SURPLUS
PARCEL ID 119-10-0
The Groton Electric Light Department is accepting proposals for the purchase of the parcel of land to be declared surplus on Sandy Pond Road, Parcel ID 119-10-0. This parcel is approx. 11.93 acres. To obtain a copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) contact Tammi Lemire via email at tlemire@grotonelectric. org or call 978-448-1150. A site walk is scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM or contact Kevin Kelly to make arrangements to view the property.
Sealed proposals will be accepted until 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Proposals shall be clearly marked “Proposal for GELD land to be declared surplus” and addressed to: Groton Electric Light Dept. 23 Station Avenue, Groton, MA 01450. Five copies shall be submitted.

Groton Water Department
Well Cleaning Project
     The following is a notification to all Groton Water Department customers that beginning on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, the Groton Water Department will start the process of cleaning two drinking water wells at Whitney Pond. This project will take approximately two weeks to complete. Some businesses and residents in the area of Shaw’s Supermarket, the Duck Pond, Forge Village Road, Hayden Road and Fletcher Hill neighborhoods will experience lower than normal water pressures and some short periods of dirty water. Once the project has been completed, water pressure will be restored but you may again experience a short period of dirty water.
     We ask that folks try and conserve water during this two-week period.
     If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Well Cleaning Project or other more specific concerns, you may either contact the Groton Water Department Office during our business hours, Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1-978- 448-1122 or go to the website at grotonwater.org.

Public Hearing
The Groton-Dunstable Regional School District School Committee will conduct a Public Hearing on the Preliminary FY 2022 Budget via Zoom meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. After the presentation, the public will have an opportunity to comment. Copies of the preliminary budget will be available for review on the district website, Groton Town Hall, Dunstable Town Hall and the respective public libraries by Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
