Groton Conservation Commission
In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L Ch. 131, Sec. 40 and the Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. The virtual meeting will be held on Zoom pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) filed by Rebecca Tabasky for repair work to the foundation of the existing single-family of the existing single-family house at 171 Lowell Road (Groton Assessor’s Parcel 116-06). The undersigned is submitting an Environmental Notification Form (“ENF”) to the Secretary of Energy & Environmental Affairs on or before March 155\ 2021.
This will initiate review of the above project pursuant to the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (“MEPA”, M.G.L. c. 30, s.s. 61-621). Copies of the ENF may be obtained from: Williams & Sparages LLC - 189 North Main Street, Middleton, MA 01949 (978-539-8088)

Clarification Amendment
In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, §§ 5 and 11, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 7:05 PM, to consider proposed Zoning Bylaw clarifications related to Accessory Apartments, as follows:
1. Amend Section 218-9.4 At- tached Accessory Apartment
by deleting the word “Attached” so it reads as follows: “Section 218-9.4 Accessory Apartment”.
Amend Section 218-5.2 Schedule of Use Regulations, Line 103, to reflect the addition of Attached Accessory Apartments and Detached Accessory Apartments as separate use categories, as adopted by the 2020 Fall Town Meeting voters.

PUBLIC HEARING
The Groton Board of Health will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 7:30 PM virtually through Zoom to consider amending the General By-laws by adding a new Chapter 64 of the Code of the Town of Groton, entitled “Polystyrene Container Restrictions for Food Service Establishments.”

Groton Water Department
Well Cleaning Project
     The following is a notification to all Groton Water Department customers that beginning on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, the Groton Water Department will start the process of cleaning two drinking water wells at Whitney Pond. This project will take approximately two weeks to complete. Some businesses and residents in the area of Shaw’s Supermarket, the Duck Pond, Forge Village Road, Hayden Road and Fletcher Hill neighborhoods will experience lower than normal water pressures and some short periods of dirty water. Once the project has been completed, water pressure will be restored but you may again experience a short period of dirty water.
     We ask that folks try and conserve water during this two-week period.
     If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Well Cleaning Project or other more specific concerns, you may either contact the Groton Water Department Office during our business hours, Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1-978- 448-1122 or go to the website at grotonwater.org.
