Town Center Overlay District, Special Permit & 

Site Plan Review

In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 7:00 PM to consider the application submitted by CJS workshop LLC for Site Plan Review and a Special Permit in the Town Center Overlay District.  The proposal is to utilize the existing premises at 25 Station Avenue (former GELD Garages, Assessors’ Parcel 113-56) for logistic turnaround and active storage to support CJS workshop’s expanding business.

Fitch’s Bridge Road RDA

In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L Ch. 131, Sec. 40 and the Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability by the Nashua River Watershed Association to restore the riparian zone along the Nashua River. The proposed work includes removal of invasive species and planting of native trees and shrubs. The subject property is located off Fitch’s Bridge Road (Groton Assessor’s Parcel 216-61). The Groton Select Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 6:15 P.M. in the Groton Town Hall, Second Floor Meeting Room, 173 Main Street, Groton, MA, to discuss and consider a new liquor license applications submitted by Indralok, Inc.
