Groton Conservation Commission
In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L Ch. 131, Sec. 40 and the Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 6:50 p.m. in the Groton Town Hall, 2nd floor meeting room to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) filed by Ryan O’Neill for the upgrade to an existing septic system at 244 Old Ayer Road (Groton Assessor’s Parcel 222- 51).
     Copies of the RDA are on file with the Conservation Commission and can be requested by emailing: conservation@townofgroton.org or calling 978-448-1106.

Groton Planning Board Public Hearing Notice
Special Permit Application Flexible Development
Maple Avenue & Pepperell Road (Assessors’ Parcels 104-30 & 212-13)
In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall to consider the applications submitted by Maple Avenue Realty Trust (Robert P. Kiley, Trustee) for approval of a Special Permit under the provisions of Groton Zoning Bylaw Section 218-9.1 Flexible Development. The project is located on Groton Assessors’ Parcels 104-30 and 212-13 and is part of a Major Residential Development proposal that will result in the subdivision of the existing 90- acre property on the easterly side of Pepperell Road and the westerly side of Maple Avenue into sixteen (16) lots, including seven (7) conventional lots and nine (9) Flexible Development lots. The proposed project is shown on the plan entitled, “Concept Plan, Groton Massachusetts” prepared for the Hayes Family Real Estate Trust by Dillis & Roy Civil Design Group, and dated April 14, 2021.
     Copies of the application and plan are on file in the Planning Board office and the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability. Public Hearing Notice
Under the authority granted under Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 111, Section 31, the Groton Board of Health will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 7PM in the 1st Floor Meeting Room at the Groton Town Hall to consider the application for the following variances from the Local Well Regulations submitted by Robert L. Collins on behalf of Ward Holdings, LLC:
1) Chapter 330, Section 330-4 Well Construction Permit
2) Chapter 330, Section 330-6 Well Location
The applicant is requesting a variance to the proposed offset for a drilled well to the property line, resource area, and parking lot. In addition, as this property is serviced by municipal water and is thus within 500 feet of a municipal water main, the well would also require a Variance under Section 330-4(C and D).
