In accordance with Chapter 83 of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Town of Groton Sewer Regulations, and the Policy and Guidelines for a Submission to Extend Sewer District, the Groton Sewer Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 at 2:15 P.M. via Virtual Meeting using Zoom Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order to consider a proposed sewer extension to the property shown on Assessors’ Map 216, Lot 101. Finance Committee Vacancy
Effective immediately, there is a vacancy on the Groton Finance Committee. The appointment to fill the vacancy shall be done by a 3-person Finance Committee Appointment Committee that shall consist of the Chair of the Select Board, the Chair of the Finance Committee and the Town Moderator.
     All interested individuals shall complete a Committee Interest Form by Friday, January 14, 2022. Interested applicants will be interviewed at a joint meeting of the Finance Committee Appointment Committee and the Finance Committee on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 6:00pm. A final appointment will be made by the Finance Committee Appointment Committee at a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 10:00am. All meetings will be held virtually on Zoom. Zoom information to those meetings will be found on the Committee Agendas posted on the Town’s website, www.grotonma.gov, at least 48 hours prior to the meetings.
