  On Monday, July 29th, 2024, the Select Board will discuss the results of the Report that provides data on the potential removal of the Squannacook River Dam during their regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. The discussion will take place in the Second-Floor Meeting Room of the Groton Town Hall. The purpose of the discussion will be to review the Report and determine whether or not to bring the removal of the Dam to Town Meeting for a decision. We encourage interested residents to attend.

In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, §§ 5 and 11, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 7:10 PM, to consider a proposed amendment to the Groton Zoning Bylaw, Chapter 218.  The proposed zoning amendment will add provisions to allow Solar Parking Canopies as accessory uses in all zoning districts.
