Groton Conservation Commission

Public Meeting

    In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L Ch. 131, Sec. 40 and the Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 6:45 p.m. to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) filed by Michael Sarcia for the removal of hazardous trees at and near the Carol Wheeler Park (Groton Assessor’s Parcels 101 - 12 & 13). The undersigned is submitting an Environmental Notification Form ("ENF") to the Secretary of Energy & Environmental Affairs on or before September 15, 2022

This will initiate review of the above project pursuant to the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act ("MEPA", M.G.L. c. 30, s.s. 61-62I). Copies of the ENF may be obtained from:

L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 7:00 PM to consider the application submitted by UC Retail, LLC under the provisions of Groton Zoning By-law Section 218-10.4 Marijuana Establishments.  The application is for a Special Permit to operate an adult-use recreational marijuana retail establishment to be located at 489 Main Street, Unit A, in Mill Run Plaza (Assessors’ Parcel 216-1.5).  The proposed marijuana retail establishment will occupy 2,188 square feet of space and will require changes to the exterior of the building, as shown on the site plan and architectural drawings provided with the application.  The project site is located at 489 Main Street, Unit A (Assessors’ Parcel 216-1.5).
