Preliminary Subdivision Plan for Residential Compound

In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 7:45 PM, in the Town Hall, to consider the application submitted by Patricia A. Madigan for approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan for a proposed residential compound known as Madigan Hill located at 423 Old Ayer Road (Assessors Map 221, Parcel 20). The proposed subdivision would create four (4) single-family house lots served by the existing driveway, as shown on the plans entitled, “Preliminary Subdivision, Residential Compound, Madigan Hill, Groton, MA” prepared by Dillis & Roy Civil Design Group, dated December 13, 2023.

Copies of the application and plan are on file in the Planning Board office and the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate based on disability. The Town of Groton, Massachusetts, will be accepting bids for the installation of new water mains on Hollis Street, Chicopee Road, Groton Street, Kemp Street, North Street, and the Groton-Dunstable Regional High School’s (GDRHS) property. The work includes the installation of approximately 20,225 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main, the installation of approximately 8,725 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, as well as valves, hydrants, water services, road surface restoration, and all necessary and incidental appurtenances necessary to complete the water main installation. Furthermore, work includes the installation of a pre-cast chemical booster station and meter vault complete with chemical feed systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, safety systems, and a standard generator.
