   The Town of Groton will accept bids for the purchase of Two (2) 2025 model year Ford Police Interceptor Utility AWD Hybrid vehicle with trade-in(s) as described in the available specifications. Bids will be accepted at the Groton Police Department, 99 Pleasant Street, Groton, MA 01450 until Friday, December 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at which time they shall be publicly opened. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids and to waive informalities if deemed in the Town’s best interest to do so. The Town Manager or his designee is the awarding authority for this purchase. 

Bidder must: 

• Submit a detailed listing of all product support that is offered. i.e. training, service support and defective merchandise policy. 

• Provide three references for whom a like quality product has been provided within the last 3 years. The reference must be a current customer for similar products (police vehicles). 

• Be a manufacturer’s authorized distributor for the product offered. (Attach copies of certifications)

• Provide manufacturer’s literature for the product for which the bid has been submitted. 

• Submit either, the Vehicle Identification Number, or the order number and production date for the unit offered, this to document bidder’s ability to meet the requirement of delivery by December 22, 2024.

   In accordance with the provisions of the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 198, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 6:30 PM in Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to consider the application submitted by LandTech Consultants, Inc., prepared for by Linear Property Management, LLC, for approval of a Limited Stormwater Management for construction of a sewage disposal system as shown on the plan entitled, “Septic Disposal System Plan, Brookfield Commons Condominiums,” dated January 4, 2024, with revisions through September 30, 2024. The proposed construction is located on property owned by Brookfield Commons Condominium Trust, Assessors Map 137, Parcel 13, Brookfield Drive.

This hearing is being held as directed by the Groton Charter. The Charter Review Committee will be seeking input from residents on issues/concerns/proposed changes to the Groton Charter that was last amended in October 2023. During the hearing, an overview of the Groton Charter and the process of amending the Charter will be discussed. Prior to and after the Public Hearing, any resident or individual with proposed changes or questions about the process can reach out to the Charter Review Committee at CharterReview@grotonma.gov.  Additional information on the process for submitting changes for consideration will be presented during the Public Hearing. Public input on the change process and changes to the Charter itself are currently being solicited.

Review of Seven Existing 

School Buildings

Firms interested in providing Designer Services for the Building Assessment for seven existing school buildings  are invited to submit Qualifications to the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District, Director of Finance & Business. The RFS will be available on November 22, 2024, through the Director of Finance & Business, Sherry Kersey skersey@gdrsd.org . Acting on behalf of the District Ms. Kersey will be the contact person for this RFS. 

Submittal of Qualifications (SOQ) are to be submitted no later than December 12, 2024, at 12:00 pm to Ms. Sherry Kersey, Groton-Dunstable Regional School District, Director of Finance & Business, 344 Main Street Groton, MA 01450. SOQs submitted by fax or by electronic mail will not be considered. 

Groton -Dunstable Regional School District reserves the right to waive any informality in the RFS process, to reject any (and all) SOQs and to make determinations on Architecture firms deemed “qualified” in its own discretion to be in the best interest of the Project.
