Petitioner Jeffrey S Talbot of Groton, MA

A Will has been admitted to informal probate.

Jeffrey S Talbot of Groton, MA has been informally appointed as the Personal Representative of the estate to serve without surety on the bond.

The estate is being administered under informal procedure by the Personal Representative under the Massachusetts Uniform Probate Code without supervision by the Court. Inventory and accounts are not required to be filed with the Court, but interested parties are entitled to notice regarding the administration from the Personal Representative and can petition the Court in any matter relating to the estate, including distribution of assets and expenses of administration. Interested parties are entitled to petition the Court to institute formal proceedings and to obtain orders terminating or restricting the powers of Personal Representatives appointed under informal procedure. A copy of the Petition and Will, if any, can be obtained from the Petitioner.

   In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L Ch. 131, Sec. 40 and the Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability filed by Paul Benoit for the removal of a hazardous tree.  

The subject property is 84 Maplewood Ave (Parcel 122-22). Proposed Zoning Amendment – Floodplain Overlay District

In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, §§ 5 and 11, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 7:00 PM, to consider proposed amendments to the Groton Zoning Bylaw, Chapter 218. The purpose of the proposed zoning amendments is to update the floodplain regulations to comply with the requirements of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
